Your future depends on you!
Nobody these days still believes in the old "Job for Life" of yesteryear. When you
consider that many companies are continually laying off employees (there are
more part time jobs in the UK than full time), many jobs are eliminated each year
by technology and not to mention the effects of the recession. It's astounding how
many people still believe that there is more security working for someone else
even though you will never earn more than about 25% of your true worth!
known as the Employment Trap. Put simply, this is where you trade time for money.
You leave full time education, enter employment and if fairly successful, peak at
around age 35 working with no real increase in income, until you retire with a
pension (possibly!) at age 65 on approximately 1/3 of your previous earnings
- the equivalent of your income at age 20! In general people are living longer
than ever before with ever growing financial needs.

Do not be misled by claims that high earnings are easily achieved.
